Certified Safety for Australian Commercial Projects

Entrance Mat Australia’s Thin Series entrance mat systems (TC01–TC04) are independently tested by NATA-accredited laboratories to verify slip resistance and fire performance.
These certifications support use in commercial, public, and government buildings, and are suitable for architectural specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.

Slip Resistance Certification – AS 4586

All Thin Series entrance mats have been tested in accordance with AS 4586:2013 – Slip Resistance Classification of New Pedestrian Surfaces, using the Wet Pendulum Test Method (Appendix A).

Test results:

• Slip Rating: P4

• Mean BPN: 53

• Test Method: Wet Pendulum (Four S Rubber Slider)

• Tested by: Zerofal Pty Ltd

• Accreditation: NATA-accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025)

A P4 slip rating indicates high slip resistance and suitability for entryways subject to moisture, dirt, and heavy pedestrian traffic.
These results confirm compliance for use in wet and dry entrance environments.

Fire Performance Certification – AS ISO 9239.1

Thin Series entrance mats have been tested to AS ISO 9239.1 – Reaction to Fire Tests for Floorings, using a radiant heat source to assess fire behaviour.

Test results:

• Critical Heat Flux (CHF): 2.4 kW/m²

• Smoke Value: 44 %·min

• Tested by: AWTA Product Testing

• Accreditation: NATA-accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025)

These results demonstrate verified fire performance suitable for commercial interiors where compliance with Australian fire safety requirements is required.
